The Dinosaurs
The dinosaurs lived long ago, when life on earth began.
(gesture palm up wave over your shoulder)
Some were tall (gesture high).
Some were small (gesture low).
Some liked water (gesture swimming).
Some liked land (gesture walking by alternating palms on your knees).
Pteranadons had leathery wings (gesture flying).
Brontausaurs, long necks (gesture to neck).
But the meanest dinosaur of all (gesture mean face).
Was Tyranosaurus Rex (gesture heavy stomping by alternating
palms on your knees).

Five Little Snowmen
A great audience participation, you can get kids to stand up in front and melt away at different points in the rhyme. Repeat to include as many kids as you can.
Five little snowmen standing in a row
Each had a hat and a big red bow
Out came the sun and it shone all day
One little snowman melted away
Four little snowmen standing in a row
Each had a hat and a big red bow
Out came the sun and it shone all day
One little snowman melted away
Three little snowmen standing in a row
Each had a hat and a big red bow
Out came the sun and it shone all day
One little snowman melted away
Two little snowmen standing in a row
Each had a hat and a big red bow
Out came the sun and it shone all day

Five Little Books
Five little books,
Sitting on a shelf.
Look inside
And see a little elf
Four little books
All in a row
Look inside
See it start to snow
Three little books
Still on the shelf
Can you take one
And read it for yourself?
Two little books,
Left on a pile
Find one now
And read it with a smile.
One little book,
All that is there
Found itself a reader who was happy to share.
Sitting on a shelf.
Look inside
And see a little elf
Four little books
All in a row
Look inside
See it start to snow
Three little books
Still on the shelf
Can you take one
And read it for yourself?

The Wheels on the Bus
The wheels on the bus go
Round and round,
Round and round, Round and round,
Roll hands
The wheels on the bus go
Round and round,
All through the town
The people on the bus go
Up and down,
Up and down, Up and down.
Bounce up and down
The money on the bus goes
Clink, Clink, Clink;
Clink, Clink, Clink; Clink, Clink, Clink.
Tap fingers on each other
The driver on the bus says
“Move on back”
“Move on back”, “Move on back”
point thumb back over shoulder
The babies on the bus go
“Wah, Wah, Wah,;
Wah, Wah, Wah,; Wah, Wah, Wah,
Imitate babies crying
The mother on the bus say
“sh, sh, sh;”
“sh, sh, sh;””sh, sh, sh”
put finger to lips
The windows on the bus go
Up and Down,
Up and Down, up and down.
Raise and lower hands
The wipers on the bus go
Swish, Swish, Swish,;
Swish, Swish, Swish,; Swish, Swish, Swish,
Palms face out and wipe back and forth
The horn on the bus goes
Honk, Honk, Honk,
Honk, Honk, Honk,; Honk, Honk, Honk,
Use palm to honk horn
The wheels on the bus go
Round and round,
Round and round, round and round..

The Goldfish
My darling little goldfish
Hasn’t any toes.
(point to toes)
He swims around without a sound
(make wavy motions with right hand)
And bumps his hungary nose
(tap nose with right hand)
He Can’t get out and play with me
(right hand swimming motion)
Nor I get in to him.
(left hand stands upright)
Although I say, “Come out and play”
(left hand beckons to right hand)
He says “come in and swim”
(right hand beckons to left hand)
Hasn’t any toes.
(point to toes)
He swims around without a sound
(make wavy motions with right hand)
And bumps his hungary nose
(tap nose with right hand)
