Mr. Groundhog....

Mr. Groundhog in the ground,

Pop your head up, look around,

Do you see your shadow?

Look up high and look down low.

Mr. groundhog in the ground,

I'm a Little Groundhog

To the tune of I'm a Little Teapot

I'm a little groundhog (place hands on hips)

Short and brown

All Winter long, (rest head on hands and pretend to sleep)

I sleep underground.

On February 2nd (peek through cupped hands)

I peek out and then,

If I see my shadow (put hands over head as if hiding in a hole)

I go in my hole again!
